Oh what joy! Just as my skin was turning a dark shade of screen from lack of sun, the skies have opened up. During the past few weeks we, in Chicago, have only had about seven hours of sunlight. Life can be beautiful. The skin which covers our bodies must adjust to this miracle from above. Due to the weakened condition of our skin, we can only be in direct sunlight for a limited time only. Care must be taken as not to suffer third degree burns. Perhaps now, I can wander for a short time through the dark alleys and byways in this accident of the city by the lake.
